This assignment was meaningful to me since it helped me gain more knowledge about an item that I use daily. For this assignment I wrote a technical description of AirPods which is one of the main items I use on my daily life. I learned about the components that make up AirPods and how they work together to achieve the quality of AirPods. This was important to me since I learned a lot about how they work, for example, I learned how the AirPods detect when I place them on my ears which is something that I always wondered about. I liked that we were given the opportunity to chose the item that we had to do the technical decription about because this way the assigment was more interesting since we could research an item that we were interested about and learn about it.

A skill that I learned by doing this assigment that I can use in the future is how to cite in IEEE form which is something that I didn’t know how to do. This style of citing sources can be helpful for me in the future whenever I have to write essays and use outside information. Another skill that I got from doing this assigment is a new way of providing information to my audience. I didn’t know to to do technical descriptions before this assigment, and now that I know it is something that I can use in the future when thinking about presenting information to an audience. I am proud that I was able to write a concise and well develop technical description since it is something that as I said before, I don’t have any prior experience with. The feedback I received from my rough draft showed me that I have learned how to write a good technical description since I only had to make minor changes, it is something I’m proud of since it is the first time I write a document like this.
